Premiere / Cinema Screening in Cologne

 

Although THE ENDLESS MOMENT  (DER ENDLOSE MOMENT) celebrated its World Premiere at the International New York Film Festival in 2021—despite COVID-19 restrictions—followed by its International Premiere at the Vancouver International Film Festival and another premiere at the Portland Film Festival, and was additionally selected as a finalist for the Prague International Film Festival Award, it is still awaiting a dedicated distributor to take charge of the film's theatrical release. Unfortunately, the challenging circumstances imposed by COVID-19 measures have repeatedly hindered this truly exceptional film to date. As a result, it has not yet received the widespread exposure it deserves. Thanks to our own efforts, the film was screened at Cologne’s Cinenova cinema in 2022 and at the Filmhaus in 2023. The feedback was magnificent; audiences were enthusiastic and deeply moved by the film. Following the screenings, attendees had the opportunity to reflect on the film while standing amidst the original paintings in Kuhlmann’s studio, engaging in conversation with the director and the artist about the film and the artistic body of work.
